At closing, you will receive a Purchaser’s Checklist which includes the number for the precinct you’ll need to contact in order to receive a building permit. Your checklist will also contain the numbers for water and electricity providers so you won’t have to scour the Internet for which company caters to your location. Santa Cruz Properties already does that for you! Your checklist will also contain the number where you can get your 911 address. This is so your city police department has your new address on file and can get to you as quickly as possible in case anything happens.
